The mission of the State Law Library of Montana is to provide legal information and resources, to enhance knowledge of the law and court system, and to facilitate equal access to justice, statewide.
The library is located in the Joseph P. Mazurek Justice Building at 215 N. Sanders in Helena, Montana. We are open to the public Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed on state holidays.
The State Law Library of Montana and Helena Self-Help Law Center are OPEN by appointment.

The Law Library is located in the Justice Building on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Sanders Street. We're one block east of the capitol building and the Historical Society Museum. Entrance to off-street parking is available from either Sixth or Sanders. For directions click here.
