Standing Master Kathleen Jensen
Kathleen Diamond Jensen has served as the Eighth Judicial District Standing Master since April 2012. As Standing Master she primarily presides over domestic relations matters. In addition to her domestic relations caseload, Kathleen frequently presides over the District’s uncontested docket. Kathleen graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Psychology in 1989, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She attended Gonzaga University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude in 1993. Kathleen received her Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1994. After five years in private practice and three years as Cascade County Human Resource Manager, Kathleen was elected as a Cascade County Justice of the Peace in November 2002. Kathleen took office in December 2002 and presided over misdemeanor criminal matters, orders of protection, small claims and small civil claims. She was re-elected again in November 2006 and November 2010. In November 2010 Kathleen was appointed by the Eighth Judicial District Court to preside over the Eighth Judicial District Adult Treatment Court. She continued her work with the Adult Treatment Court until April 2013.
