8th Judicial District Judges

Judge PinskiJudge Gregory G. Pinski is a fourth generation Montanan, born and raised in Great Falls. Judge Pinski earned his bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, in political science and journalism from the University of North Dakota. Before attending law school, Judge Pinski worked at the White House in the Office of Presidential Scheduling for President Bill Clinton. In 1999, Judge Pinski graduated, with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law where he was Articles Editor of the North Dakota Law Review.

Judge PinskiJudge Elizabeth Best attended Great Falls schools, and graduated from CMR in 1974. After earning a BA at MSU Bozeman, she earned her law degree at the University of Montana, where she met her husband, Mike, on the law school flag football team. She and Mike graduated from law school and entered the U.S. Army JAGC, where she served at HQ V Corps, in Frankfurt, FRG. [Read more]
Judge KutzmanJudge Kutzman finished high school in Bozeman when his father returned home after retiring from the U.S. Air Force. He then attended the University of Montana where he majored in political science and minored in Soviet Studies. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 1987. [Read more]
